Economical Flightseeing, Lowest Budget Helicopter Tour |
|
| Although we all want to see as much as we can when we’re travelling, sometimes we have to accept that our budget gets a little ‘stretched’. So we’ve put together some suggestions for Canada, USA and Australia (shown below) which might make the difference between ‘doing’ and regretting ! |

If you want to experience the exhilaration of flying in a seaplane, in particular the take and landing, then try either the Vancouver Panorama tour or the Victoria Panorama tour (depending on where you’re visiting). This 20 minute aerial sightseeing tour will give you the perfect overview of the harbour area from where you take off, as well as the surrounding area sights before the ‘splashdown’ back at your departure point.
For something different you could take the ‘Mail Run’ seaplane service from Vancouver Harbour, which delivers the mail to the Gulf Islands. The exact routing changes depending on the daily requirements for deliveries etc.
If you want to be more independent then why not take the scheduled seaplane flight from Vancouver to Nanaimo on Vancouver Island. The fares are extremely reasonable.
If you happen to be in the east of Canada, around the Niagara Falls area, then our Niagara Falls Tour by helicopter is an absolute must. Departing from the heliport close to the Falls, you not only fly over the Falls for some amazing views (take a camera and plenty of film) but you also get to see some of the surrounding area. This is a 9 minute flight, and offers great value for money.

If you visit New York then you absolutely must take a helicopter trip. The Lady Liberty tour last 5 – 7 minutes and gives give a brief but memorable and spectacular view of this buzzing city. The Lady Liberty tour takes you past the Statue of Liberty as well as Ellis Island and Governors Island. And you get to see some of the impressive Manhattan skyline.
If you’re in Las Vegas and have a bit more time then you have to see the Grand Canyon. The best way to see the sheer size and majesty of this natural wonder of the World is from the air. The Canyon Highlight Tour is short at 45-60 minutes and often means an early start, but it does take you over Lake Mead, the Hoover Dam and the Western Grand Canyon, so we think it’s worth it - you can sleep later.

If you’re visiting Australia there’s a pretty good chance that you visit Sydney. The city itself is a beautiful place, which is partly due to the harbour-side setting with its iconic images of the Opera House and the Harbour Bridge.
Seeing the harbour from the air is the only way to put it all into place as part of a bigger picture and we offer two possible ways of doing this, either by helicopter or by seaplane. The Sydney Highlights tour is operated by seaplane and takes you to the Bondi Beach and then performs a circuit of Sydney Harbour in front of Opera House and Harbour Bridge before returning to the seaplane base.
